Our Story
For generations, the defining moments of African history have been told from the outside. Teqsus Studios was founded to change that — beginning with King Kosoko: The Battle for Lagos, the story of a king who defied an empire, produced by his own descendant seven generations on.
We combine rigorous historical research with premium production standards — ARRI cinematography, Dolby Atmos sound and award-winning post-production — because our stories deserve nothing less.

With a passion for impactful storytelling and a background in investing across film and other industries, Ayo Ajayi brings an entrepreneurial perspective to filmmaking — balancing creative ambition with business acumen. He is the founder and director of Teqsus UK Limited and Teqsus Studios, supporting innovative storytelling and visionary filmmakers.

A Lagos prince from the royal family of King Kosoko — a 7th-generation direct descendant — Segun Olojo-Kosoko is co-founder and CEO of Twocan Solutions. A playwright and stage actor from his school days, he has graced stages including the National Theatre and Terra Kulture. He is passionate about telling true African stories as a vehicle for education and cultural pride.
Director — King Kosoko: The Battle for Lagos
A renowned Nigerian director and producer with a career spanning over two decades, Adebayo Tijani's notable works include Omo Elemosho (2013), King of Thieves (2022) and Jagun Jagun (2023). In 2022 he was ranked the second highest-earning Nollywood director by FilmOne, and his films have premiered in Nigerian cinemas and on international platforms.
